ROGER DICKINSON
City Council, Sacramento District 2
Roger Dickinson is a lifelong consumer protection advocate with a reputation big corporations fear. He looks out for the little guy—he doesn't back down, he doesn't give up, and he wins.
Who is filling our mailboxes with lies?
The smear mailers you’re receiving are produced and paid for by out-of-town corporate landlords from the California Apartment Association who want to raise your rent—and they don’t even live here.
THEY DON’T LIVE IN DISTRICT 2—THEY DON’T EVEN LIVE IN SACRAMENTO!
The California Apartment Association is spending heavily on dirty, misleading ads in District 2 because they fear Roger Dickinson’s candidacy for Sacramento City Council.
These corporate interests openly oppose tenant protections—critical to improving our neighborhoods and ending the crippling homelessness crisis.
Roger Dickinson is a champion for tenants. He is committed to protecting renters and homeowners with his six-point plan to tackle homelessness.
Roger has a proven track record of standing up to corporations and other powerful special interests to protect consumers' rights.
As a private attorney, he brought automakers to their knees, emphasizing automobile warranty law and sales misrepresentation cases. He held automakers accountable, helping to create the “Lemon Laws” that protect consumers today.
These special interests don't want Roger on the city council, and they are spending big dollars hoping to change your vote.

The California Apartment Association has significantly harmed us by using its power and millions in campaign contributions to influence local governments. Their priority is protecting their ability to charge exorbitant rents, profiting off hardworking individuals struggling to make ends meet.
Don't be misled by their claims; they have no real interest in addressing the housing affordability and homelessness crises. By imposing sky-high rents, they profit from the humanitarian emergency we face today.
Corporate Landlords Are Public Enemy No. 1
In the News: by Patrick Range McDonald
September 8, 2023
"When it comes to devastating the lives of tens of millions of Californians, the California Apartment Association and corporate landlords are public enemy number one. That’s not a stretch. No other industry has done as much destruction to the basic need of shelter, fueling the housing affordability and homelessness crises and upending people’s lives."
